Marine generator sets parallel operation

Two Weichai Deutz 226-6 diesel engines are paired with Leroy-Somer 120kW generators. The diesel engines use electronic speed governors, and the generators use analog AVR voltage regulation. The two generator sets need to be used individually or in parallel. The original control panel in the central control room was a purely manual control system. The new control panel needs to achieve the following functions:

1. Individual operation: Manual voltage/speed regulation

2. Parallel operation: Automatic synchronization/automatic load sharing
